Mark Anthony Williams was born at
Lewisham (London), England in the United Kingdom and later relocated to South Wales
in 1988. In the early 1990's, his skill in calligraphy, among other artistic abilities,
was used to represent his high school,
Cwmtawe Comprehensive, in the National
Urdd Eisteddfod. For three consecutive
years, a young and gifted Mr. Williams was awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the
Welsh National and local County arts and
crafts competitions. He pursued his talents
and commenced studies at Swansea College, Llwyn-y-Bryn Art School, for General Art
and Design.

Williams has produced numerous paintings
of land and seascapes using acrylics, pastels
and watercolours-selling his work in galleries
and craft shops throughout the Swansea area
for many years. Other mediums used include various pencil types, charcoal, pen and ink.
He is also skilled in illustration and design.
Future endeavours include distributing his
artwork worldwide; provide tutoring in art
and calligraphy instruction locally; as well
as opening an art gallery in the United States. Presently, he is building up his art portfolio
and he enjoys working in collaboration with other gifted artists who are lyricists, poets, authors and musicians.
